Will the Minister of MICRO,SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES be pleased to state:-
(a) whether the Government proposes to set up a National Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Hub under ‘Stand up India’ Scheme;
(b) if so, the details thereof including its special features along with the amount allocated for the purpose;
(c) the total number of SC/ST entrepreneurs likely to benefit therefrom State/UT-wise?

MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES
(SHRI GIRIRAJ SINGH)
(a) to (c): Yes Madam. Finance Minister in his Budget Speech for FY 2016-17 has announced to set up a National Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Hub in the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in partnership with industry associations. The details of the scheme are being worked out.
