(b) whether any guidelines have been issued by the Government for Gramin Bhandaran Yojana under food processing sector, if so, the details thereof;
(c) the steps taken by the Government to implement the said schemes in Rajasthan; and
(d) whether the targets have been achieved in this regard and if so, the details thereof?

Will the Minister of AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE be pleased to state:-
(a) the salient features of various schemes being implemented by the Union Government for the welfare of Agriculture and Farmers;
(b) whether any guidelines have been issued by the Government for Gramin Bhandaran Yojana under food processing sector, if so, the details thereof;
(c) the steps taken by the Government to implement the said schemes in Rajasthan; and
(d) whether the targets have been achieved in this regard and if so, the details thereof?

ANSWER
MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE
( SHRI PARSHOTTAM RUPALA) 

(a) & (b): The salient features of Schemes currently implemented/run by Department of Agriculture Cooperation & Farmers Welfare for welfare of Agriculture and Farmers including the scheme for Integrated Scheme for Agriculture Marketing (ISAM) are at annexure.

Further, Ministry of Food Processing Industries has reported that Government has already approved a new Central Sector Scheme — Kisan SAMPADA Yojana — (Scheme for Agro-Marine Processing and Development of Agro-Processing Clusters) which is a comprehensive package for creating modern infrastructure with efficient supply chain management from farm gate to retail outlet and to ensure better prices to farmers, and doubling of farmers income.

(c): Agriculture Marketing Infrastructure (AMI) sub-scheme of ISAM is available across all the States in the country including Rajasthan. 

(d): In Rajasthan, under AMI sub-scheme of ISAM {including erstwhile Grameen Bhandaran Yojana (GBY) and Development/Strengthening of Agricultural Marketing Infrastructure, Grading & Standardization (AMIGS)}, a total of 25,72,908 MT storage capacity has been sanctioned and 17,36,551 MT storage capacity has been created upto 31st March, 2017. 

Further, 25 mandis of Rajasthan have been integrated with e-NAM Scheme.
