- Treatment for drug sensitive TB is provided through 4,00,000 DOT Centres.
- House to house screening Covering 5.5 Crore population under Active Case Finding.

More Beds, More Facilities, More Hospitals and More Doctors:
- 20 New Super Speciality AIIMS- like Hospitals being set up.
- 2 new AIIMS announced for Jharkhand & Gujarat in 2017-18.
- 73 Government Medical Colleges being upgraded.
- 1675 hospital beds added in the functional AIIMS.
- Total 92 Medical Colleges, resulted in increasing of 15,354 MBBS seats.
- Total 12,646 PG Seats have been increased.

- National Health Policy Formulated in 2017, after a gap of 15 years.
- Addresses current & emerging challenges based on changing socio-economic & epidemiological landscapes.
- Mental Healthcare Act Adopts a rights -based statutory framework.
- Strengthens equality & equity in provision of mental healthcare services.
Eliminating Diseases, One Dose at a Time:
- India has validated Elimination of Maternal & Neonatal Tetanus in May 2015, before the global target of Dec 2015.
- Action plans to eliminate Leprosy by 2018, Measles by 2020 and Tuberculosis by 2025 implemented.
- Mission Indradhanush completed four phases covering 528 districts.
- 80.63 lakh pregnant women immunized.
- 3.15 cr children vaccinated.
Eliminating Diseases, One Dose at a Time:
- Inactivated Polio Vaccine (IPV) introduced in Nov 2015. Around 4 cr doses administered to children.
- Rotavirus Vaccine launched in March 2016. Nearly 1.5 cr doses administered to children.
- Measles Rubella (MR) vaccination campaign launched in Feb 2017. Around 8 cr children vaccinated.
- Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine (PCV) launched in May 2017. Around 15 lakh doses administered to children.
Quality and Affordable Health:
- Provide free dialysis services to poor & subsidized service to all patients.
- About 2.5 lakh patients have availed the service.
- 497 dialysis units have been made operational.
- Nearly 25 lakh dialysis session held so far.
Ensuring Affordable & Quality Healthcare:
- 1054 essential medicines brought under Price Control regime giving consumer total benefit of more than Rs.10,000 cr.
- Affordable medicines with PM Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendras. More than 3,000 stores, resulting in savings of over 50%.
- AMRIT pharmacies provide drugs for cancer and cardiovascular diseases at a discount of 60% to 90%.
- Prices of Cardiac Stents & Knee Implants reduced by 50-70%.
Poshan Abhiyaan to Ensure Proper Nutrition:
- First of its kind initiative launched to tackle Malnutrition through multi-modal interventions.
- Target to reduce Malnutrition through Convergence, Use of Technology & a Targeted approach.
Yoga for Holistic Healthcare:
- Huge public participation in yoga around the year, leading to multiple health benefits.
- Celebrated across the world.
Ensuring Good Health of Mother & Child:
- More than 1.16 Cr antenatal check-ups conducted at over 12,900 health facilities.
- More than 50 lakh pregnant women expected to becentive of Rs.6,000.
- 80.63 lakh pregnant women immunized.
- More than 6 lakh high risk pregnancies identified.
Ayushman Bharat to be world's Largest Health Insurance Initiative:
- Provide comprehensive Health Coverage up to Rs.5 lakh per family per year to around 50 cr people.
- 1.5 lakh Sub Centres & Primary Health Centres being transformed as Health & Wellness Centres (HWCs) to provide Comprehensive Primary Healthcare services.
