प्रधानमंत्री स्वास्थ्य सुरक्षा योजना
लोकसभा में एक प्रश्न का उत्तर देते हुए स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण मंत्री श्री अश्विनी कुमार चौबे ने बताया कि महाराष्ट्र में प्रधानमंत्री स्वास्थ्य सुरक्षा योजना (पीएमएसएसवाई) के विभिन्न चरणों के तहत सरकार द्वारा निम्नलिखित परियोजनाएं शुरू की गयी है :
i. नागपुर में नए एम्स की स्थापना (चरण –IV)
ii. सरकारी मेडिकल कॉलेज का उ नयन:
1. ग्रांट मेडिकल कॉलेज, मुम्बई (चरण-I)
2. सरकारी मेडिकल कॉलेज, नागपुर (चरण-II)
3. सरकारी मेडिकल कॉलेज, औरंगाबाद (चरण-III)
4. सरकारी मेडिकल कॉलेज, लातूर (चरण-III)
5. सरकारी मेडिकल कॉलेज, अकोला (चरण-III)
इस सम्बंध में लोकसभा में पूछे गए प्रश्नों और उनके उत्तर :
Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana
(a) whether implementation of Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana is being implemented in the State of Maharashtra;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) the details of the funds released for the projects under the said scheme in the State of Maharashtra so far; and
(d) the up to date status of these projects?

(a) whether implementation of Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana is being implemented in the State of Maharashtra;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) the details of the funds released for the projects under the said scheme in the State of Maharashtra so far; and
(d) the up to date status of these projects?
ANSWER
THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND
FAMILY WELFARE

(a): Yes
(b): Following projects have been undertaken by the Government under various phases of Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) in the State of Maharashtra:
i. Setting up of new AIIMS in Nagpur (Phase-IV)
ii. Up-gradation of Government Medical Colleges:
1. Grant Medical College, Mumbai (Phase-I).
2. Government Medical College, Nagpur (Phase-II).
3. Government Medical College, Aurangabad (Phase-III).
4. Government Medical College, Latur (Phase-III).
5. Government Medical College, Akola (Phase-III).
6. Shri Vasantrao Naik Government Medical College, Yavatmal (Phase-III).
(c): The details of funds released for the projects under PMSSY in the State of Maharashtra are given in Annexure.
(d): The up to date status of the projects is given in Annexure.
