छात्राओं के कौशल विकास हेतु विशेष योजना

राज्यसभा में छात्राओं के लिए कौशल विकास हेतु कोई विशेष योजना चलाई गयी है, इस सवाल का जवाब देते हुए कौशल विकास और उद्यमशीलता मंत्री ने कहा कि छात्राओं के लिए विशेष कोई योजना नहीं है लेकिन पीएमकेवीवाय के तहत महिलाओं का भी कौशल विकास किया जाता है और उनका कौशल मैपिंग कर रोजगार मुहैया कराया जाता है. इसके तहत 2016-20 तक बहुत सारे महिलाओं को कौशल विकास के तहत रोजगार प्रदान किया गया है.

EXCLUSIVE SCHEME FOR THE SKILL DEVELOPMENT OF GIRL STUDENTS

1586. DR. FAUZIA KHAN:

Will the Minister of SKILL DEVELOPMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP be pleased to state:

(a) whether Government has/proposes to have any exclusive scheme for the skill development of girl students; and

(b) if so, the details thereof, along with the funds allocated and utilised, State and district-wise?

(SHRI R. K. SINGH)

(a) The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) does not have a separate scheme for skill development of girl students. Training is being imparted to all youth including girl students under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana PMKVY(2016-20) has specific measures to encourage the participation of women/girl candidate as under:

 

SN Exclusive Measures Details

1 Conveyance Cost :  Training centre within district of domicile: Rs. 1000/-(per months) Training centre outside district of domicile: Rs. 1500/-(per months)

2 Post Placement Support : Rs. 1500/- month upto maximum of 3 months (One month additional from others)

(b) Since there is no exclusive scheme of skill development training for girl student, no funds have been allocated exclusively for girl candidates. However, under State Component (Centrally Sponsored State Managed) of PMKVY (2016-20), funds have been allocated to States/UTs.

The state-wise details under Centrally Sponsored State Managed (CSSM) and Centrally Sponsored Centrally Managed (CSCM) component of PMKVY (2016-20) are given at Annexure. Also, there is no provision for district- wise allocation of funds under the Scheme.
