Will the Minister of FOOD PROCESSING INDUSTRIES be pleased to state:-
(a) the date on which Pradhan Mantri Gram Samridhi Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY) were launched for the economic empowerment of farmers and villagers in the country along with the process of selection in it;
(b) whether any criteria has been set for the beneficiaries of the said schemes and ifso, the details thereof;
(c) the names of the States and the number of eligible farmers of the country benefitted under the said schemes, from the launch till December, 2021 along with the State-wise and year-wise details thereof;
(d) the details of the farmers and villagers benefitted under the said schemes in Rajasthan, district-wise; and
(e) the numerical data for the year 2019-20 to 2021- 22 and the details of amount disbursed in this regard, year-wise?

(a) & (b): Central Sector Umbrella Scheme SAMPADA, subsequently renamed Pradhan Mantri Kisan SAMPADA Yojana (PMKSY), was approved on 03.05.2017, whereas Centrally Sponsored PM Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme (initially conceived as Gram Samaridhi Yojana) was approved on 20 May, 2020. Selection of proposals for assistance under these schemes is done as per the respective scheme guidelines through dedicated portal and transparent appraisal process as per the prefixed criteria. Selection process involves appraisal & scrutiny of proposals at multiple levels. The criteria for selection of proposals is detailed in respective scheme guidelines, which is available on Ministry website (mofpi.nic.in)
(c) & (d): Being Central Sector and demand driven scheme, no state or district wise allocation is made under PMKSY. The year wise estimated number of farmers benefited across the country from projects completed under relevant component schemes of PMKSY is placed at Annexure-I. A total of 38 approved infrastructure projects are located in Rajasthan state with estimated benefit to about 2.055 lakh farmers.
