(b) whether Government would now provide training to the youths to avail employment opportunities abroad besides imparting training to them according to the needs of the domestic industries; and
(c) the number of training centres being opened in the country by Government under Pravasi Kaushal Vikas Yojana and the number of centres being opened in Bihar out of them, location-wise details thereof?
ANSWER
(a) to (c) Yes Sir. 15 International Skill Training Centres have been established in key migratory pockets of the Country on pilot basis on the occasion of World Skills Day on 15th July, 2016. The skill training under Pravasi Kaushal Vikas Yojana is being implemented by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship for which fund allocation is made by the Ministry of External Affairs. The trainings imparted in these Centres are of International Benchmark standards apart from compliant to Qualifications Packs (QPs) and National Occupation Standards (NOSs) aligned to National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) with options for Pre-departure orientation and soft skills training.
