a) The release of funds to States/UTs under the scheme Sabla is based on schematic norms and the expenditure reported by the State Government. Accordingly, funds for the year 2016-17 amounting to Rs. 1181.17 lakh have been released to Government of Chhattisgarh under the scheme upto 14.03.2017.
b) Yes Sir, as of now the scheme is operational only in 10 districts out of the 27 districts of the State. The budgetary allocation for the scheme Sabla for the year 2016-17 is Rs.460 crore, as such the scheme cannot be implemented in all the districts at present.
c) The beneficiaries for the scheme Sabla are adolescent girls only. At present an amount of rupees five per adolescent girl per day has been fixed for nutrition under the scheme. The Government is aware about the cost escalation since the last revision and remedial measures are taken to address the issue.
