(a) the number of loan applications submitted under the Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency (MUDRA) scheme since its inception bank, State/UT-wise including UP, Jharkhand and Karnataka;
(b) the number of youth provided loan for employment so far in the country under the scheme along with the amount sanctioned, State-wise including Karnataka, UP and Jharkhand; and
(c)the details of the target set by the banks under the scheme and the MUDRA loan sanctioned/ disbursed by the banks so far, bank/State/UT-wise?

Will the Minister of FINANCE be pleased to state:-
(a) the number of loan applications submitted under the Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency (MUDRA) scheme since its inception bank, State/UT-wise including UP, Jharkhand and Karnataka;
(b) the number of youth provided loan for employment so far in the country under the scheme along with the amount sanctioned, State-wise including Karnataka, UP and Jharkhand; and
(c)the details of the target set by the banks under the scheme and the MUDRA loan sanctioned/ disbursed by the banks so far, bank/State/UT-wise?
ANSWER
THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE
(a) &(b)As on 28.07.2017, over 8.56 crore loans have been sanctioned across all age groups under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY). Information relating to number of loan applications submitted and age profileof the borrowers under PMMY is not maintained centrally. State/UT-wise details of Mudra loans sanctioned/disbursed by all Member Lending Institutions (MLIs) including banks since inception of PMMY is at Annexure I.
(c) The target set for all MLIs, including banks, was Rs. 1,22,188 crore for 2015-16; Rs. 1,80,000 crore for 2016-17 and Rs. 2,44,000 crore for 2017-18. Bank-wise details of loans sanctioned is at Annexure II.
