Swadesh Darshan Scheme : Question raised in Loksabha

स्वदेश दर्शन योजना के बारे में पूछे गए सवाल का उत्तर देते हुए पर्यटन राज्य मंत्री ने कहा कि देश में थीम आधारित पर्यटन स्थलों के विकास के लिए सरकार 2015 में इस योजना को 5813.55 करोड़ का बजट दिया था, इसके अंतर्गत 76 परियोजनाएं स्वीकृत हो चुकी हैं जिसमे 7 परियोजनाएं पूरी हो गयी हैं और 26 परियोजनाएं पूरी होने वाली हैं।

दूसरे सवाल का जवाब देते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि 2018-19 में झारखंड में 55 करोड़ का बजट स्वदेश दर्शन योजना के तहत इको परिपथ थीम के लिए एक परियोजना की स्वीकृत की गई है।

Will the Minister of TOURISM be pleased to state:-

(a) the achievements of the Swadesh Darshan Scheme as of date;

(b) whether there are plans to expand the Scheme to include more theme based tourist circuits;

(d) if so, the details thereof?

ANSWER

(a) to (d): For integrated development of Theme-Based Tourist Circuits in the country, Ministry of Tourism has launched Swadesh Darshan Scheme in 2014-15. Since its launch in January 2015; the Ministry has sanctioned 76 projects for Rs.5813.55 Crores, out of which 7 projects are complete and 26 projects are nearing completion. Sanctioning of new projects in the scheme is under review.

Ministry of Tourism has sanctioned a project ‘Development of Dalma- Chandil- Getalsud- Betla National Park- Mirchaiya–Netarhat’, Jharkhand under Eco Circuit Theme of Swadesh Darshan Scheme for Rs.52.72 Crore in 2018-19.
